OUR SPECIALTIES
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING
Each and every individual will receive counseling from a trained, American Assn. of Christian Counselors-affiliated professional.
THERAPY
Therapies from the American Association of Christian Counselors will be used alongside step studies.
DEPRESSION
Depression is a key player in addictions and recovery We use Bible-based training and understanding to bring a person back to a solid base for life.
RELATIONSHIP COUNSELING
Individual will receive training in restoring and maintaining relationships, and how to excel in them
ADDICTION
Along with a Biblical 12 step program each person will also be put through a 15 to 30 week course on Addiction and Recovery so that they will understand step by step what has happened to them and where they can go from here.
STRESS & TRAUMA
Again Stress and Trauma also have a 15 to 30 week training course to help the individual learn to cope with their fears and deal with the traumas they are dealing with.
ANGRY OUTBURSTS
Anger Management is very important in recovery and we deal with this for clients and families of clients so that a peacful existance is possible for recovery
ANXIETY
PARENTING DIFFICULTIES
Parental training from many christian resources will be used so that effective Christian based parenting skills are in place
FAMILY THERAPY
Therapies from The American Association of Christian Counselors will be used in individual, group, and family therapy sessions. When family members of students are available, they will be incorporated into sessions as far as practicable.
Lastly, anxiety is the reoccurring influence of both addiction and poor self esteem that leads to the life that has broken and filled with hurts, hangups, and habits. We are trained to help you trust in someone that can save you from anxiety. His name is Jesus Christ.
AFTERCARE
Every effort will be made to acquaint student with a suitable support group in their destination area prior to leaving. A church that hosts a recovery group usually can be counted upon to provide a safe and supportive environment for their continued growth.
